Jean Ann Hughes, Chief Operations Officer, for Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council in Roanoke , Virginia . Ms. Hughes has 15 years of experience working with Girl Scout councils and 16 years of experience in public education. Passion for empowering girls and young women in the fields of math and science has driven Ms. Hughes throughout her career. She is a Lifetime Member of Girl Scouts of the USA , Lifetime Member of the Association of Girl Scout Executive Staff, National Board Member for the Association of Girl Scout Executive Staff, Nationally Certified Chief Executive Officer with GSUSA, and a member of Rotary International. She is very goal oriented and enjoys mentoring young people in her area of expertise. She looks forward to working with Jessica and developing program that will someday be used by Girl Scouts across the nation and the world.
