Personal Profile:
Jennifer joined the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy’s Asheville office in 2006 as the federal policy coordinator, focusing primarily on global warming and renewable energy policies and programs. Previous professional experience includes manager of a watershed conservation project for Upstate Forever in Greenville, SC; member of the Western North Carolina Alliance’s Forest Task Force; researcher for the Ecosystem Management Initiative in Ann Arbor, MI; and coordinator of ecotourism and community conservation projects for the SC Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism throughout the state of South Carolina. Jennifer earned a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Behavior from the University of Michigan in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from Tufts University in 1993.
