Armando Marquez Ochoa is the Executive Director of FUNDAHMER (Foundation Hermano Mercedes Ruiz), a non-profit and non-governmental organization in El Salvador at the service of poor communities, promoting comprehensive community development in the search for alternatives to poverty and the depletion of the environment. He was also a founding member of the organization, and was at one time the director of the Environmental Program within FUNDAHMER.
