Personal Profile:
Brandon Robinson is a 2005 graduate from Howard University’s School of Education where he majored in Child & Adolescent Development and minored in Psychology. While at Howard, Brandon maintained several positions in the field of student development and student services; which included mentoring, tutoring, teaching, entrepreneurship, researching issues and solutions of the urban community. While working in such departments as athletics, Moorland-Spingarn research center and the school of education, Brandon worked for the Kaplan k-12 learning services and was a 2003-2004 Ronald E. McNair Research Scholar (Cohort IX). McNair is an intense program aimed at preparing low-income first generation undergraduates for graduate level programs. A few other accomplishments noted in Brandon’s undergrad career included the 2004-2005 School of Education Honor Roll and the Howard University Scholarship recipient. Presently, Brandon has worked at Loyola Marymount University while pursuing his Masters, at Summerbridge/Breakthrough Collaborative, Paul Public Charter School Middle School and Fulton County, Human Services Department. All of Brandon’s work and research stems from his passion of serving other individuals who desire the knowledge of services deemed particular for their needs.
